BOSTON - Albany and New Hampshire continue to be the hottest America East men's basketball teams as the two squads each won twice last week to extend their win streaks. The Great Danes have won nine in a row, their longest Division I win streak, while the Wildcats have won five straight. Players from the two teams are weekly award winners for the second-consecutive week. - Scored 18 of Albany’s 47 points in a three-point win over second-place Vermont on the road Wednesday.
- Had 17 points and a career-high five assists in a win at Maine Saturday.
- The award is his second of the season and fourth of his career.
Rookie of the WeekTanner Leissner, New Hampshire - Fr., Converse, Texas
- Averaged a double-double of 15.0 points and 11.5 rebounds in a pair of New Hampshire wins last week.
- Had a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Maine Wednesday.
- Tallied 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting and 11 boards in a 15-point win over Stony Brook Saturday.
- The award is his third straight and fourth of the season.

- Albany is the first team to be 9-0 in America East play since the 2004-05 Vermont squad.
- The Great Danes have won nine in a row, their longest stretch in Division I, and 12 of their last 13 overall.
- Albany has held opponents to an average of 53,9 points per game in its nine conference contests.
- Albany is 5-0 without all-league guard Peter Hooley, who has taken an indefinite leave of absence due to the sickness and death of his mother.

- Hartford’s Mark Nwakamma is one points shy of Mark Nwakamma becoming the 43rd player in league history to score 1,500 points.
- The Seawolves’ Jameel Warney leads the nation in double-doubles (15) and is sixth in rebounds (11.3 rpg).
- Warney is one of just 17 players in the country averaging a double-double.
- The Seawolves’ win over Washington on Dec. 28 was the first for an America East team over a ranked opponent since Vermont beat #14 Boston College on Nov. 13, 2006.
