Albany Knocks Off #3 Syracuse as #AEMSOC Dominance Continues
ALBANY, N.Y. - Jonathan Interiano's goal in the 75th minute lifted Albany men's soccer to a 2-1 win over third-ranked Syracuse on Tuesday. The Orange entered the game with the fifth-best RPI in the nation.
Albany's win is the latest achievment for America East men's soccer teams, whose play has the league performing as one of the top men's soccer conferences in the country this season.

- #3 Syracuse was the highest-ranked opponent an America East team has beaten since Boston University knocked off #3 St. John's in 2009.
- America East's conference RPI (4) trails only the ACC, Big East and Pac 12 amongst the 24 Division I conferences that sponsor men's soccer.
- The league's teams are a combined 46-16-12 in non-conference play thus far in 2016. The .3non-conference winning percentage is second only to the ACC.
