Dwyer came to the conference office in September 2008 to serve as a primary liaison for championships and sport administration and coordinate the conference’s 20 championships.  In this role, he provides on-site championship management for men's soccer, cross country, swimming & diving, baseball and men's lacrosse and works directly with those coaches groups. Dwyer also develops annual conference schedule for selected sports, compiles annual RPI reviews, coordinates scheduling for in-season and post-season events, and administers regular season sports policies and standards for sports other than basketball.

Dwyer spent the previous year working for the ECAC, the largest collegiate athletic conference in the country. After a year as an Asa S. Bushnell Championships Assistant, Dwyer was hired as Director of Sport Administration. In these roles, Dwyer assisted in the planning and execution of over 90 championships across all levels. His duties included coordinating the conference’s championship budget, securing championship sites and acting as tournament director at select championships. Before joining the ECAC, Dwyer completed an athletic administration internship at Western New England College and was a graduate assistant football coach at Springfield College.

A native of Wakefield, Mass., Dwyer earned a bachelor’s in business administration in 2001 from Stonehill College, where he was a standout tight end on the football team. Dwyer also received a master’s in athletic administration from Springfield in 2007.
