CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -  Boston University junior Madison Clemens and Stony Brook University freshman Kristen Baker each scored game-winning overtime goals to earn America East women's soccer weekly honors, the conference office announced Monday.

Clemens (Reading, Pa.) becomes the second-straight Terrier to be named Player of the Week after leading the conference with three goals over two games to help Boston University to a 2-0 record. Clemens started the week with the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Maine at home. The junior followed that by scoring both goals in a, 2-1, overtime win at Vermont to preserve the Terriers 27-game conference winning streak. It was Clemens first multi-goal game of her career, first giving Boston U a, 1-0, lead in the late stages of the first half, then scoring the game-winner with just over a minute left in the first overtime.

Baker (Easley, S.C.) earned her first Rookie of the Week honors after scoring two goals on Sunday against Binghamton to help Stony Brook earn its first America East victory of the season in a 2-1 double-overtime win. Baker scored the game-tying goal in the 17th minute, taking a feed from freshman Tessa Devereaux and blasting a shot into the top left corner from nearly 30-yards out. The freshman then won the game in the 107th minute, again taking a pass from Devereaux and floating a shot over the Binghamton keeper from 25-yards out on the left wing.

Notes:
Boston University won its 27th-straight America East game with a, 2-1, overtime win at Vermont... Hartford's Amelia Pereira tacked on two more goals and an assist this week to continue to lead the league in points (22) and goals (9) ... Hartford has allowed just one goal through three conference games... Albany has scored four or more goals in all four of their wins this season.
