This past weekend Thayer Academy in Braintree, Mass. was home to lacrosse teams, fans, families and more at the 5th annual Catamount Classic. Previous years have donated close to $130,000 to cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and this year the event expected to welcome over 3,500 supporters. There were nine women's teams that took part in Saturday's action and 18 men's teams that played Sunday. Along with the numerous games of lacrosse played over the weekend, there were many different vendors in attendance to help support the cause as well. The event was a chance to bring in local teams to play the game of lacrosse and support a good cause at an event that continues to grow in years to come.
