Basketball Media Day To Take Place Tuesday on AmericaEast.com

With the start of the 2012-13 college basketball season just weeks away, America East will hold its 2012 Media Day on Tuesday, October 23 at University at Albany's SEFCU Arena, site of the 2013 America East Championship.

Fans will be able to follow the activities all day long via Media Day Central, at AmericaEast.com, and the conference's social media sites. The formal program will be streamed live at AmericaEast.com starting at approximately 12:30 p.m. It will feature comments from America East Commissioner Amy Huchthausen, Albany Vice President & Director of Athletics Lee McElroy and others. The preseason all-conference teams and polls will be unveiled via video and the coaches of the preseason favorite will speak. Following the program, watch interviews with all 18 head coaches, conducted by Eric Frede and produced by Pack Network.

Throughout the day, check out
Media Day Central for links to team information, including schedules, capsules and more. The preseason all-conference and poll releases will be available following their release and coaches interviews will be added to the page later in the day
