With just one week to go in the men's soccer regular season, the America East standings could not be much tighter. Just Seven points separate all eight teams with just three points between the fourth and eighth-place squads. Vermont became the first team to clinch a spot in the America East Championship Saturday.

•    The Catamounts have lost just once (5-1-5) over their last 11 games.
•    Both goalies made a pair of saves to record a shutout. For UVM's Conor Leland it was his league-leading five, while it was UNH's Travis Worra's fourth.
•    The Wildcats outshot the Catamounts, 8-7.

•   Santaga's goal, his seventh of the year, came off a corner kick in the ninth minute.

•    UMBC (8-4-4, 2-2-1 AE, 7 pts.) got a goal Stephen Ho to beat Stony Brook (9-4-1, 3-2-0, 9 pts.) on the road Friday night.
•    The goal, which came in the 74th minutes, was the first of Ho's career.
•    UMBC's win was its third straight and propelled the Retrievers into third place in the conference standings.
•    Phil Saunders made three saves to record his fifth shutout of the year.
