Three more America East men's hoops teams take the floor and will try to make it a winning weekend as the league's teams are 3-4 so far after Albany and Vermont joined Hartford in the win column. Albany (3-1) continues play in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic at Mohegan Sun and will look to improved to 4-1 against reigning MAAC champion Loyola at 2 p.m. Jacob Iati scored a career-best 24 points to lead the Great Danes to a 62-59 win over UMKC on Saturday. Stony Brook (3-0) goes for its first-ever 4-0 start at the Division I level with it hosts Sacred Heart at 2 p.m. at Pritchard Gym, where it has won 15 straight games dating back to Feb. 19, 2011. Binghamton (0-4) completes its five games in 10 days stretch when it hosts St. Peter's at 2 p.m. In addition to Albany's win Saturday, Vermont (2-1) improved to 2-1 with a 66-55 win at Northeastern, the Huskies' first loss of the season. Ethan O'Day led four Cats in double figures with a career-high 17 points. Also on Saturday, Boston U. (0-3) fell to George Washington, 72-59, Maine (0-3) dropped a 70-68 decision to Brown and New Hampshire (2-1) lost at Bryant, 76-64.
