Women's Basketball Teams Play Final Games of 2012 Sunday
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -America East women's basketball teams play their final games of 2012 on Sunday with four teams in action.
Binghamton (1-11) and Boston U. (9-3) both close out their non-conference schedules in the Christmas City Classic. Binghamton looks to bounce-back from a loss to host Lehigh on Saturday against Fairleigh Dickinson at 2 p.m.
The Terriers won their sixth-straight game, cruising past Fairleigh Dickinson, 68-42, Saturday. Boston U. shot a season-high 50-percent from the floor and was led by Rashidat Agboola's double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The Terriers take on host Lehigh at 4:30 p.m.
Stony Brook (7-5) is the only America East team playing at home, hosting MAAC foe Iona at 2 p.m. The Seawolves are closing out one of their best non-conference schedules in recent history with a 7-5 record entering play.
Maine takes a trip to Towson at 2 p.m. and is the only America East team also playing on New Year's Day against Virginia Commonwealth.
