Albany (16-5, 5-2 AE) and Vermont (12-7, 5-2 AE) are both coming off tough losses. The Great Danes led Boston U. by six with 10 seconds left but fell to the Terriers in overtime Wednesday, while Vermont lost a nine-point second-half lead at Maine.
The Great Danes are looking to avenge an early-season loss at Vermont. The Catamounts, who have won the last seven meetings between the two teams, shot 53 percent from the floor in a 70-45 win over the Great Danes on Jan. 5.
Elsewhere Saturday, Boston U. (10-10, 4-3 AE), winner of four of its last five, hosts UMBC (4-15, 2-4 AE) at 1 p.m. First-place Stony Brook (14-5, 5-1 AE) plays Maine (8-11, 3-3 AE) at Pritchard Gym, where its won 13 straight games against league foes. Binghamton (3-16, 1-5 AE) is coming off a win over Maine and faces New Hampshire (4-14, 0-6 AE), which will try to snap a nine-game win streak.
