CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Four America East softball teams have begun their 2013 seasons and three players from those teams are the first weekly award winners of the year. The winners for all games played through Sunday were announced Monday afternoon.

University of Maine's Kristen Koslosky picked up Player of the Week honors while Binghamton University's Kate Price and Sydney Harbaugh were Pitcher and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

Koslosky (Castro Valley, Calif.) batted .533 during S.C. Upstate's tournament held Feb. 8-10. The sophomore infielder hit 8-for-15 in the tournament with a double. Koslosky also scored three runs and stole three bases.

Price (Brewerton, N.Y.) hurled 6 1/3 innings without allowing an earned run in two appearances last week. The senior right-hander allowed six hits, three unearned runs while striking out eight and walking none.

Harbaugh (Cicero, N.Y.) hit a team-best .444 at the Florida International/Felsberg Tournament this past weekend. The freshman outfield hit safely in all three games and went 2-for-3 against Florida International. Harbaugh reached base during seven of her 12 plate appearances for a .583 on-base percentage.
