The Wildcats were the top free-throw shooting team in the conference, hitting 70.4 percent of their attempts from the charity stripe. Senior guard Kelsey Hogan is the leading returner for the Wildcats and was named to the Preseason All-Conference team. She averaged 9.8 ppg and led the team in assists, averaging 3.2 per game. Maureen Magarity enters her fourth season at the helm. She led the Wildcats to their first postseason berth in 2011-12 (WBI) and then the team's first America East tournament win since 2005 last year.
