Stony Brook Men's Hoops Looks to Move to 2-0 Sunday
#AEHoops season continues with three more men's games on Sunday after three games took place Saturday.
Stony Brook (1-0) looks to improve to 2-0 when it hosts Haverford College at Pritchard Gym at 2 p.m. in a game that can be seen on AmericaEast.TV. The Seawolves beat Marist, 71-55, on Friday night behind a career-high 22 points from Anthony Jackson.
Also Sunday, Maine (1-0) hosts Fisher in its home opener at 3 p.m. and Binghamton (0-1) visits Brown. The Black Bears fell at Rhode Island in its season opener Friday and the Bearcats nearly knocked off Loyola before falling by five.
On Saturday, New Hampshire (1-0) beat Suffolk, 94-70, as the Wildcats shot 63 percent in the second half. Chris Pelcher recorded a monster double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds to lead the way. Also Saturday, Vermont fell to Saint Joseph's 74-64 and Hartford fell to Quinnipiac, 82-77, in the Connecticut Six Classic.
