Hartford continued America East's strong week in men's hoops with a win Friday night. Since Monday, the conference is a combined 8-3. Four more teams have a chance to add to that success on Saturday.

On Friday, Hartford (2-2) won its second game in three nights, shooting 56 percent from the floor in a 74-60 win over Fairleigh Dickinson. The Hawks got 46 points from their bench, including a career-best 18 points from Evan Cooper, one of four players in double figures. He was joined by Mark Nwakamma (14 points), Wes Cole (11) and Yasin Kolo (10).

On Saturday, Binghamton is the lone team at home, a game that can be seen on AmericaEast.TV. The Bearcats, who host Navy at 2 p.m., are aiming for back-to-back wins for the first time since last November after they rallied from 19 down at Cornell to post an 89-79 win Wednesday.

Also Saturday, Albany (2-0), which is off to its first 2-0 start in seven seasons, visits Quinnipiac at 2 p.m., UMass Lowell (0-2) visits Dartmouth for a 4 p.m. contest and Vermont (1-1) goes for back-to-back wins at it head to Bryant for a 7 p.m. game.
