Maine Moves to 2-0; Stony Brook Visits Iowa Sunday
Four America East teams played on Saturday with just one game scheduled for Sunday at Stony Brook plays at Iowa at 2 p.m. ET.
Maine improved to 2-0 for the first time under head coach Richard Barron with a 75-65 win over Bryant on Saturday. The Black Bears turned the ball over just seven times, the fewest in a game since 2007 while four players scored in double figures. Sigi Koizar led Maine with 16 points and the Maine bench outscored Bryant's 50-7.
UMass Lowell (0-3) dropped a 92-69 decision at home to Holy Cross. The River Hawks now play nine-straight on the road. New Hampshire (2-1) fell to Northeastern 70-50, and UMBC (1-2) lost to UMES, 68-45.
Stony Brook plays the only game on Sunday at Iowa at 2 p.m. ET. The games will be available on the Big Ten Digital Network.
