UNH, SBU Win Monday; 4 Games Tuesday Night

Release: 11/26/2013

Stony Brook (4-2) and New Hampshire (3-2) each earned wins on on Monday night as America East teams approach Thanksgiving.

The Seawolves topped Morgan State, 79-55, behind 17 points from Sabre Proctor. Proctor was a perfect 10-for-10 from the line, the first America East player to be perfect on at-least 10 free throw attempts since Vermont May Kotsopoulos on Feb. 10, 2010.

The Wildcats used a late 10-2 run to get past Colgate, 63-58, to snap a short two-game skid. Corinne Coia had 14 points and 11 boards for her first career double-double, while Kelsey Hogan led the team with 15 points.

Four games are scheduled for Tuesday night, beginning with a 5 p.m. tip between rivals UMBC (1-4) and Towson. UMass Lowell (0-4) plays at No. 19 Oklahoma State in their first of back-to-back games vs. top-25 teams at 6 p.m. Two games are set for 7 p.m. as Hartford (1-3) hosts Central Connecticut on AmericaEast.TV, and Vermont (1-3) is at Wagner.
