Road Teams Go 3-0 on Sunday

Road teams found success on Sunday, posting a 3-0 record in America East women's basketball action.

In the nationally televised game on ESPN3, New Hampshire (11-8, 5-1) held off UMass Lowell (2-17, 1-7), 75-68. Freshman Kristen Anderson led all scorers with 23 points while Elizebeth Belanger added 18 points and 10 rebounds.

The River Hawks trailed by as much as 15 in the contest but battled back to within three points on three different occassions in the second half. UNH closed the game by hitting 16-straight free throws.

Stony Brook (15-5, 6-1) completed a 2-0 road swing with a 65-49 win at Maine (10-10, 4-3). With the win, the Seawolves are off to their best 20-game start in school Division I history. Chikilra Goodman led Stony Brook with 12 points.

Freshman Kristina White scored 19 points off the bench to give Vermont (6-14, 3-4) a, 65-57, win at Binghamton (4-16, 1-6). It was the third-straight win for the Catamounts over the Bearcats.
