UMass Lowell Hosts Stony Brook Saturday

Just one game will be played in women's America East basketball on Saturday as UMass Lowell hosts Stony Brook at the Tsongas Center at 2 p.m.

The River Hawks (5-18, 4-8) are coming off back-to-back wins for the first time this season with wins over UMBC and Vermont. Jasmine McRoy scored a career-high 27 points against the Catamounts and currently ranks second in the America East during league play in scoring at 16.8 ppg. Lindsey Doucette and Shannon Samuels also rank in the top five, with Doucette fourth and Samuels fifth.

The Seawolves (17-7, 8-3) sit just a game out of second-place in the conference heading into the weekend and are having one of their best seasons in program DI history. Sabre Proctor ranks second in the conference in scoring at 15.1 points per game. Stony Brook won the first meeting, 86-63, at Pritchard Gym as Proctor scored a game-high 20 points.
