CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – All six America East women's lacrosse teams are at or above .500 after six weeks of non-conference action with conference play just around the corner. New Hampshire sophomore Laura McHoul earned Offensive Player of the Week honors with four goals and three assists in a win over Drexel. Albany senior goalkeeper Anna Berman earned Defensive Player of the Week after a 2-0 week for the Great Danes, and Stony Brook freshman Dorrien Van Dyke was outstanding for the Seawolves to be named Rookie of the Week. Here are the week six award winners:

Offensive Player of the Week
Laura McHoul, So., A, New Hampshire
Westwood, Ma.

  • Scored a career-high four goals and added three assists to propel UNH to a 12-8 win at Drexel.
  • The seven points were the highest for an America East player last week.
  • Scored four goals on four shots for a perfect 1.000 shooting percentage.
  • Tallied two goals and three assists in the first half, helping the Wildcats transford a 2-0 deficit into an 8-3 halftime lead.

Defensive Player of the Week
Anna Berman, Sr., GK, Albany
Garnerville, N.Y.

  • Recorded 15 saves over two games and led the conference with a 4.00 goals against average and a .612 save percentage.
  • Made four saves, allowing only three goals and picking up two ground balls in a 14-3 win over William & Mary.
  • Stopped 11 shots, allowing just five goals and finishing with a .652 save percentage in a 10-5 win over Hofrsta.

Rookie of the Week
Dorrien Van Dyke, Fr., M, Stony Brook
Northport, N.Y.

  • Posted an astounding 17 points in a two game span to lead Stony Brook to a pair of wins.
  • Recorded a Stony Brook freshman record nine points, tied for the fifth-highest in a single game, scoring five goals and adding four assists vs. Siena.
  • Added a team-high four draw controls vs. Siena.
  • Totaled four goals and four assists in a win over Iona.
  • The nine goals came on 16 shots for a .562 shooting percentage.

Around the League

  • Albany senior goalkie Anna Berman is one win away from the 50th of her career.
  • Stony Brook earned its 100th win in program history against Iona this week.
  • UNH has won three of its last four and is now .500 on the season.
  • UNH's Laura McHoul moved into eighth on the Wildcats' all-time assists list with 53.
  • Binghamton set a program record for wins with six in a 9-8 win over Quinipiac. The Bearcats also have their record for home wins (4) and are three games over .500 for the first time in school history.
  • Vermont is one win away from tying the program record for its most wins in a season (9). The Catamounts have scored 18 or more goals seven times this year.
