EUGENE, Ore. – New Hampshire’s John Prizzi placed eighth overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Prizzi garnered All-America status as he raced to a 8:44.02 finish to best his own school-record, which was set at the NCAA regionals to qualify for the championships.

Vermont’s Nika Ouellette earned Second-Team All-America recognition as she hurled the javelin 48.82 meters on her first attempt. Her throw ranked 13th among 16 final competitors and was just shy of her personal-best (50.01) that she set in the America East Championship in 2012. Ouellette closes out her career with three All-America honors under her belt.
