UMBC's Morgan Taylor to Take Over AE Twitter Account

UMBC junior women's soccer student-athlete Morgan Taylor will take over the America East Twitter account (@AmericaEast) Friday, August 8 through Sunday, August 10 as part of the #AETakeOver.

Taylor, a native of Severna Park, Md., started all 21 games as a defender for the 2013 America East Champion Retrievers. She totaled four points including an insurance goal in a semifinal win over No. 4 Hartford in the America East tournament. She also was named to the America East Honor Roll. UMBC is in the midst of preseason with the 2014 season beginning on August 22. 

Taylor is the seventh America East student-athlete to take over the conference's Twitter account, following Binghamton men's basketball rising sophomore Marlon Beck II, UMass Lowell men's soccer rising junior Eric Chajon, Albany rising senior Sarah Royals, Stony Brook alums Josh Barry and Bryan Tatelman, New Hampshire's Abby Brinkman and Hartford's Stephanie Santos. Taylor will have free reign over the the Twitter account, @AmericaEast, beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 8 and running through Sunday, August 3. All tweets from Taylor will be tagged with #AETakeover.
