Ross, Lamb Net Week #6 Men's #AEHoops Player of Week Honors

BOSTON - A light week for America East men's basketball teams on the court resulted in just 11 games being played. Albany, Binghamton, Hartford, UMass Lowell, Stony Brook and Vermont picking up wins. Here are the week #6 award winners:

Player of the Week
Jalen Ross, Hartford - Sr., Guard, Greenbelt, Md.

  • Scored 27 points, including 21 in the second half, to lead Hartford to a comeback win over Dartmouth Tuesday.
  • Sank a career-high 11 field goals on 18 attempts.
  • Dished out five assists.
  • This is his first career Player of the Week award.

Rookie of the Week
Anthony Lamb, Vermont - Fr., Forward, Rochester, N.Y.

  • Scored a career-high 26 points on 12-of-18 shooting in a win over Eastern Michigan Saturday.
  • The 26 points were the most by a Vermont freshman since Taylor Coppenrath scored 31 during the 2001-02 season.
  • Pulled down eight rebounds.
  • This is Lamb's third career Rookie of the Week (Nov. 14, 28).
