America East: Best of U.
America East expects its student-athletes to be Shining Stars not only on the court but in the classroom and community as well. We invite you to catch the Shining Stars at the University of Hartford's Chase Family Arena from March 12-15. America East women’s basketball has seen recent postseason success, including wins in the NCAA Championship two out of the last three years. In 2008, America East teams took home wins in both the NCAA Championship and the postseason WNIT. The 2009 postseason hopes to be another successful run in the making, beginning with the America East Championship.

This season, March Madness begins at Chase Family Arena where nine teams will compete for four days with one goal: Win the America East Championship and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. Chase Family Arena is a wonderful venue for college basketball. Don't miss your chance to catch a Shining Star.
